Lawyers challenged on bigger is better
Press Release
Are bigger firms better for lawyers and their customers? That is the question for top professional services firms in Cambridgeshire, who will be putting their heads together to look at whether continued consolidation is the future of the sector.
The firms - which include Taylor Vinters, Mills and Reeve , Kester Cunningham John, Prettys and Crossmans - are coming together for the latest session of strategy forum Oracle when they meet at the new Hotel du Vin next month ( 19 th October ).
Leading the debate and helping firms decide whether merger/acquisition is the right path for them is Andrew Hedley who has lead a range of merger and strategic alliance projects in recent years including one for major London lawyers Pinsents in 2004.
Andrew comments: “I am looking forward to fuelling the debate on a topic close to my heart. Consolidation amongst professional firms is clearly on the increase and it will be interesting to hear the views of Cambridgeshire firms.”
Oracle has been developed by two firms specialising in professional services marketing - Prima PR and The Progressive Business Group – and is held bi-monthly in Cambridge for director level marketeers from the professional services sector. The next Cambridge session is taking place at Hotel Du Vin on 19 th October 2007.
